A Cairns-based recruitment business has expanded into Brisbane with a new office.
CAIRNS-based recruitment business Elite Executive has expanded into Brisbane with a new office.
Founder and managing director Eva Grabner said she had been planning a new site for some time due to the “significant” number of clients based in the southeast corner of the state.
Paul Ryan has been appointed as the Brisbane-based Elite Executive recruitment specialist at 1 Eagle St.
“We included this as a part of our business growth in this year’s strategic plan but, for me, it was always about finding the right person,” she said.
“I wanted someone who would align with our values and work ethic and represent Elite Executive at the level of professionalism that I expect from my team.
“Within a short space of time, Paul really stood out among others.
“He has significant experience in the recruitment space both nationally and internationally and has a strong Brisbane network.”
Ms Grabner said she planned to expand the Brisbane office further by the end of the year, but the business would stay “an exclusive, boutique organisation that offers a more personal service so there are no plans to grow too big”.
“Our mining and engineering clients are increasingly instructing us to search, select and recruit project managers with recognised engineering and preferably postgraduate business degree qualifications,” he said.
“These managers need to have considerable experience employing contemporary project management methodologies and must demonstrate industry-recognised certifications. In particular, we are experiencing a considerable number of requests for skilled managers with industrial and utility and large scale renewal energy expertise including solar, wind and hydro.”
